The Confidence

Workshop

For when you're ready to stop hiding

Please don't take my picture...

How many times has that thought popped into your head when someone pulls out a camera?

Does it make your heart race, your palms sweat? Do you feel a bit nauseous?

You're not alone.

I have been a professional photographer for over a decade - and I would say over 90% of my client base hate having their picture taken.

Women all over the world, in every stage of life and every size of business - more often than not are filled with dread at the thought of being on camera

Let me tell you a secret

It’s rarely just about the camera.

It’s often about feeling exposed, vulnerable, and unsure of how to show up as your true self.

That fear of being judged or not measuring up can stop you from stepping into the spotlight, whether it’s for photos, meetings, or everyday moments that matter.

What if you could change that?

What if confidence wasn’t something you had to find outside yourself, but something you could unlock from within?

What is it?

A 3 hour, in person workshop in Glasgow on Friday 29th August  - teaching you how to look your best self on camera, feel your best self in life, and step into your most confident self when you need her most.

What do we cover?

All of my events are hands on, interactive experiences that get you engaging with what you learn.

Taking Better Selfies

I’ll guide you through my top tips—from posing and posture to lighting and angles—so you can stop hiding from the camera and start showing up confidently in the story of your life.

You’ll learn how to stand, where to place your hands, and how to move naturally to feel comfortable and look authentic in every shot.

The Mindset Bit

Confidence isn’t just about how you look, it’s about how you feel about yourself inside. We’ll explore the beliefs and stories that hold you back from showing up fully and authentically.

*Some parts of this journey might feel emotional or even challenging as you face fears and limiting thoughts. That’s completely normal and part of real growth. If you have experienced severe trauma related to your self-image or visibility, please take care and listen to what feels safe for you. This space is about support and empowerment, but your well-being always comes first.

Music as a Tool

Music is one of the most powerful ways we can step into a new headspace, so get ready to feel uplifted, joyful, and like a BOSS as you use music to unlock your most confident self.

Through powerful playlists and finding your groove, you’ll step into your energy and show up bold, joyful, and unstoppable..

Details

I’m still ironing out the final details, but rest assured—you’ll be well fed and watered throughout the workshop and it will be taking place in Glasgow on the 29th August.

Tickets

  • Finally stop freezing up when the camera’s on you.

  • Learn the simple tricks for posing and moving so your hands don’t feel like awkward dead weight.

  • Get a boost of real, can’t-stop-smiling confidence that lasts way beyond the workshop.

  • Hang out with other women who get it — no judgment, just good vibes and honest support.

Is it worth it?

When you stay hidden, what are you missing out on?

How often do you long to be truly seen — without fear, hesitation, or that voice in your head telling you you’re not enough?

What are you teaching yourself when you avoid the camera, the spotlight, or simply showing up? And what might your children be learning from watching you shrink back?

Ask yourself: what would you really give to feel that kind of confidence — the kind that stays with you long after the photo is taken?

This workshop is your chance to finally stop hiding and start showing up, even if your hands shake.

‘I used to hate having my picture taken, then I met Sherrie.
She’s given me so much confidence about it I now actually enjoy it'

Who am I?

I'm Sherrie, a free - spirited carb enthusiast who's been taking pictures professionally since 2015.

I was born and raised in Glasgow but enjoyed Dubai expat life from 2017 - 2023 before returning to the homeland.

Now, I'm blessed to be able to work between Glasgow, Dubai and London.

While I enjoy working in a huge variety of fields, I have always been drawn to working with people and sharing in their joy is my favourite part of my job.

With colourful hair you can spot across the room, let's just say I'm no stranger to brand visibility and I have been helping business owners be the face of their branding for many years now.

It's my mission to empower women to feel confident and comfortable in front of a camera and capture images that scream "This is me".

I was a teacher in a previous life I've realised that I can use that skill set to educate business owners and give them the guidance they need to improve the visuals of their brand.

Developing masterclasses and courses means I can reach even more people and keep doing that thing that gives me joy: helping people!
